Yet, despite the uncontrollable nature exemplified in chaos theory, everyone balances out in one way or another which is a contradiction to the progression.

I think it neutralizes when the ripple has turned into a tsunami of effects affecting everyone and returns back to you. though each individual has a ripple to start with that runs with time. so each second of each persons life creates a small ripple. Another way is when a ripple is negated with another from somewhere in this world.

7 billion people, multiplied with 86400 seconds per day = roughly 600 trillion ripples thrown around chaos itself. Think of it as a huge sandbox with 7 billion children playing about. each step they create leaves a mark on the sand, but then it may be canceled by another step from another place in the sandbox. the shifting of the sand is random until such a time that an area of the box would see the bottom of it, while on the other a mound of sand sits. Because of the huge area of rippling effect, cancellations occur as soon as it is generated. Only a few gets to be propagated magnitudes obvious to human existence.

hmmm karma = final outcome of chaos theory? so karma therefore is a "semi" tangible concept now? what is needed is a calculation on what and how the return of the butterfly effect would be.

whoa...i think there is something in this idea... 0_o

Small Sacrifices Add up to Something Big

Many times we are faced with choices, and the outcomes are always on either side of the coin. Choose any side and there will be one benefited and the other neglected. We may come back and attend to the other option but sometimes, there can only be one choice. Such is our dilemma in everyday living.

For example, we choose to eat much and feel satisfied, but the consequences may not be good. We could always eat well but our sense of satisfaction dictates our actions more often than not. We may opt to just loaf all day and feel relaxed, but it would lead to laziness, unproductive outcomes, and of course loss of self worth. We may stop studying and just play all day, but it leads us into physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stagnation. We may cheat on our partners and just enjoy time with others, but the fear of getting caught and the guilt destroys our good nature.

We fail to seek happiness because we become a pinball being hurled and bounced back and forth in an imbalanced sense of satiety. We seek for material wealth thinking that it could solve our problems. For the devout, prayers and faith are resorted to. Nevertheless, many find themselves without resolve.

This is because there is no personal sacrifice given up. Contrary to the laws of physics and nature, only through sacrifice do we gain much. It is a twisted system to counterbalance the way things are. We work and lose time to loaf around, and we earn for everyday living. We fast when eating and we gain health and wellness. We stop in what we do, and we gain time to survey the situation.

One important note however is that sacrifice not only means losing something of value, but also means offering this for glorification of someone else, may it be for someone loved, or perhaps for the only One who was able to offer everything for us to be living in relative convenience. He made His sacrifice count for the billions of people here on earth.

All He asks is to make your life count as well. Sacrificing in small amounts for the goodness of others, in time would be your legacy for the other generations. Start doing good to yourself and work your way out for others. You will see that inner peace will start living in you.

10 Day Hiatus! Nevertheless, the life in the city is just like any bustling metropolitan: fast. People are on the go at all times, beating the rush hour traffic, awake until the wee hours of the morning, and always doing things in a hurried pace. Leisure and exercise are generally spent in malls, parks, and gyms.

Recently I took interest in combining both cardiovascular workout and leisure of getting to observe the city from a slower (than automobile) pace. This fusion two activities maximizes time and energy, and you get to appreciate the city at a much better vantage point. You may even bring along your digicam and take photos or videos of places you visited.

This would go definitely well with the weight loss challenge sponsored by Herbalife. I get to lose weight (lost four kilos in the first week! no kidding!) and I get to see a lot of places I have never seen from up close before. Since urban trekking involves relatively fast paced walking for that cardio effect and is not limited to highways, I can pass through subdivisions and smaller roads that are shortcuts through main thoroughfares.

Thanks to Googlemaps, I am able to plot different routes going to and back, making it more convenient and knowing how far and where I am trekking.

More updates on urban trekking tonight...as for now, I will be doing my usual Juna Subdivision to Guadalupe Subdivision trek. See y'all this evening! :D

After the Eclipse: The Informal Review

I admit the movie was good. It was well scripted and the plot was just mixed well enough.

* The vampires were still wussies compared to the werewolves, and the werewolves were just pure brawn, lacking taurine or some brain nutrient for common sense.
* Edward was still the pale dood with a bucket full of cheesy lines.
* Jacob was still the airhead who has his nerves laced with excess testosterone.
* [and] Bella was still the two timing heroine who just can't get her hormones straightened out.

Not surprisingly enough, my girlfriend just kept squirming whenever scenes of Jacob (in human form of course) was shown, whether it be arguing with Edward or just innocently trekking the woods without his shirt on.

I was literally hooked with the movie from start to end. That would be both a bad and a good thing. It was bad since my attention at some point focused on how irritated I was with Bella as she kept flirting in-your-face style between the two main actors.

She seemed to have a little difficulty if she wanted a possessive blockhead who only cared about having what he wants or some undead guy who was cheesier than all the swiss cheese factories combined. Who could even admire someone who says "[but] I love you more"?

It was good in most ways as I liked the way the fight scenes traspired ("yo rip their heads off!!!"). Another strong point in the movie was Alice and how she made the movie looked oddly "emo-kawaii" (haha so alright I'm being biased as she is the character who can match up in terms of being a looker to my girlfriend's hard-nippled, drool inducing furball). Finally, for an overly romantic (and sickening at that) movie, it had a cool comedy twist every now and then, especially scenes between Mr. shirt on, and Mr. shirt off.

The scene in the woods nearing the final part for example where Bella had herself wrapped around Jacob's arms, and Edward couldn't do anything was just cruel and funny at the same time. However, I was not sure if the way Edward stared at the two during the "embrace" signified contempt or envy. Maybe he wanted to be in Bella's place instead?

He [Edward] was also a cold dood, maybe he should have taken off his clothes as well and joined in??? Nah, that would be so much of a scene reminiscent of that "Brokeback" movie...the tent, the mountains, two guys...

Well maybe ditch the girl first.

-LOL-

And the Saga (of mush and cheese) Continues

I was supposed to go directly to my girlfriend's place but she asked me to pass by the mall and for some reason, I decided to have the car washed in the mall's carpark thinking that the whole 60 minutes (and 2 bucks) that it would take would just be enough for me to line up and have a couple of cinema seats reserved for the movie "Eclipse". (Haha talk about multitasking and effective time management)

Even before the movie was set to be shown in cinemas, my girlfriend was already raving about it like it crazy. She, her girl friends, and a whole lot of ladies hooked up on Facebook buzzed like flies over cinema countdown. Sheesh!

Now as I am standing in line, I could just see the legion of women lined up. All I could think about was how all women would be drooling gaga over Jacob's six-pack abs while their boyfriends would be eager to get it over with and see the final credits.

And I just wonder, why does Jacob have to be topless all the friggin' time? You could almost check if his nips would be standing because of the really cold weather (which would go well with his rock-hard abs).

Why doesn't Edward go head to head in showing some bare-chested skin? Too white? Maybe vampires don't have nipples to start with. I really do not know.

Another thing that leaves me stumped is why both the furball and the bloodsucker are going crazy with this two timing lady. One thing for sure, werewolves and vampires are not the brightest of monsters.

And so the saga of the mush and hush continues as the movie still has another sequel set to be shown sometime in the near future.

I guess I better get my girlfriend a basin so she could drool the heck she wants without flooding the cinema when we watch in a few hours.

--LOL--

Ghostwriter's Take on Reality

I was able to chat with a good friend of mine over at YM and the topic which started from me asking for more writing assignments veered off to me being asked about my writing experience. Of course I was proud to say that I was already writing online content since 2007.

However, I was stopped in my thoughts when she asked about me having any published content. All I could say was "I wrote for employers."

Then it struck me...I was just writing for people who just paid me for the dirty work of dishing out their required articles...I even saw a lot of my works published in their websites (of course to which I will not say for privacy issues), with their names attached as authors.

I now felt the void of being. I was a ghostwriter in a state of realization.

Now don't get me wrong. I am not complaining about not being able to publish my works under my name. Besides, I got paid quite well by the several bosses (Boss Dotz, An, Phil, Will, Van, Mikhal) I had shared my works since I started this. I was able to satisfy my need of buying gadgets like my beloved Casio EX-G1 all resistant camera and laptop-slash-tablet PC courtesy of Lenovo (model s10-3t) among others. What actually bothered me was that I had no publications to call my own.

I even chuckled when I saw the irony in my email and saw all the sent items with my attached write ups. The whole list seemed to go on forever and based on my estimate and records, I may have already written about 2 to 4 thousand articles (from technical to creative, academic to promotional). I know this is just a small number as compared to other ghostwriters who commit full time to this profession. Yet, all those works of mine, and not a single one credited to me is simply doing injustice to my identity.

So here I am, just another ghostwriter; a freelancer at that who gets paid for writing up stuffs, setting up this website so I could finally publish my works as my own. Of course I will still continue to be a ghostwriter as it is good money and practice.

I'll just have this blog to officially place my mark as a professional writer.

And to all ghostwriters out there, I salute you.

Cheers!
